Something You Must Always Remember

As a mom, I want my children to know how much I love them even after I am gone. It is hard to put that in words. I was reading the posts on the Goodreads' Facebook page today. They had asked what was your favorite quote from a children's book.

Mine was from 'Guess How Much I Love You' by Sam McBratney.  Little Nutbrown Hare told Big Nutbrown Hare that he loved him 'right up to the moon'.  Big Nutbrown Hare laid down close by Little Nutbrown Hare 'and whispered with a smile, "I love you right up to the moon - AND BACK."

Then I saw a post where someone posted a quote from 'Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin' by A. A. Milne and I thought - that's it.  That is what I would want my children to remember when I am gone!

Christopher Robin said to Winnie the Pooh:

'If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart, I'll always be with you.'

Perfect!
